Tonner’s Doll Duels- A Unique Photo Sharing Site

Tonner has made huge leaps in the social media field this year with an interactive blog, a heavily updated facebook page, and plans to open a new very soon!  This past week, Tonner opened a brand new website called Doll Duels. Doll Duels is a new, unique way to share your Tonner doll photos.

How does it work?  It seems pretty simple.  You upload the best shot of your Tonner doll (in my case The Doctor) and once it is okay’d by the administrators, it is entered into one on one ‘duels’ where viewers choose their favorite of two shots taken by two different people.

Right now, it seems they are only allowing actual Tonner dolls and not those of Wilde Imagination.  Maybe one day they’ll open it up to Ellowyne?  We have far more of those in my household than strict Tonner dolls (of which I own the Doctor, Captain Jack, a Betsy McCall and a Tyler Wentworth).

From what I understand of their fine print, the photographer retains all rights to their photograph, but does give Tonner the right to use the image royalty free for whatever they’d like.

If you have a Tonner doll, why not join in on the fun and submit a photo?  If you don’t own a Tonner doll, it is worthwhile to check the site out anyways and vote for your favorite photos!
