OOAK American Girl Doll Up for Auction!

The American Girl factory is holding its annual outlet sale this weekend to benefit the Madison Children’s Museum & American Girl’s Fund for Children.  Though tickets are already sold out for the physical sale (located in Middleton, WI), you can still give to the cause and win an OOAK doll at the same time by participating in an online auction for a special one off American Girl doll.

Special OOAK American Girl doll being auctioned off for charity.

Borrowed from the promotional e-mail, Mattel states,

“Bid online for your chance to win an EXCLUSIVE, collectible doll specially created by American Girl in celebration of Madison Children’s Museum’s 25th American Girl Benefit Sale! This one-of-a-kind doll is sure to be the crown jewel in your collection, and only available in this auction! All proceeds from the auction will benefit Madison Children’s Museum, so bid early … and bid high! Don’t miss your chance to win this special one-of-a-kind doll!”

Isn’t this doll a sweetie? I love the dark eyes and contrasting dirty blonde hair, as well as the styling.  The outfit is adorable and the kicker for me? The turquoise ring on her right hand! I’ve never seen an American Girl with a ring before. I love it! My Girl of Today totally needs a turquoise ring like that. And let’s not forget the mini doll in the shopping bag.  This entire set, top to bottom, is adorable.  I hope it finds its way into a nice home!

Bidding on this OOAK American Girl doll starts today and runs through July 22nd.  You can register to bid here.

What do you think of this one off?  Are you planning on taking the plunge and bidding?  Share your thoughts!
