Introducing Mystixx by Playhut

With the holidays on their way, so are a few new doll lines that are sure to catch the eye of children and doll collectors alike.  I was recently introduced to Playhut’s doll brand ‘Mystixx’.  ‘Mystixx’ are being billed as “four stunning transformational fashion dolls that are popular girls at school by day and powerful vampires at night”.  The line is set to debut with four unique doll characters, stressing confidence (Talin), compassion(Siva), competitiveness (Azra) and intelligence (Kalani).

Playhut’s Mystixx: Talin, Siva, Azra, and Kalani

I know what you’re thinking.  You’re thinking, well, what makes this line stand apart from ‘Monster High’ or ‘Bratzillaz’, right?  The simple answer? While it looks like ‘Mystixx’ are one doll, they’re really two.  Each ‘Mystixx’ has two different faces (one head with two faces), two complete outfits, two interchangeable wigs, two pairs of shoes and accessories.  You can literally change your dolls look right off the bat, as opposed to buying expansion packs (like ‘Monster High’ Create a Monster sets).  And better yet?  These dolls retail at just under $20.00.  Not too bad for a doll that you can customize.  ‘Mystixx’ are being sold exclusively at Toys R Us (in stores and online) and should be available now!

I have yet to see these in person, but honestly, they sound really cool.  I can’t wait to get my hands on them and see their quality!  In the meantime, what do you think of this new doll line?  Share your thoughts with the world in the comment section!
